Best of 2015 Black and Blue and Grey all over

The end of the year gives us times to look back on the progress we’ve made, reaffirm what’s worked, learn and set intentions for the year ahead. Looking back at 2015, there is a definitive trend to my wardrobe. To the suprise of utterly nobody, it’s dominated by black and blue. I’ve stated before my wardrobe is akin to a bruise, but it’s something else to see it all laid out in black and white (and uh…blue.)

My uniform remains the same. I love stripes, textures and lots of layering. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it right.  Hats, fluffy bags, hightops and lots of jewellery have all made their way in to my wardrobe and helped keep it fresh. For me, it’s been about investing in high quality pieces that last and wash well. I never thought I’d be one to check the labels for materials, but it’s become second nature to me over the last 12 months.
Outfits: Navy headress // Opera Gloves // Cats and Pearls // Grey Layers //  High Kicks

Dark lips, flats and lots of coulottes (seriously a girl can’t have too many) were on steady rotation. I am drawn to more maculine cuts, leathers and checks.  I’ve also been slowly becoming more comfortable wearing my glasses, in no small part to Iolla.  Some of my fave pieces that I wish I wore a bit more include my harness, Aymee Charlton hat and sheer socks.
Outfits:  Good Ship Navy // No Brainers // Double Checks // All White on the Night

I’d love to try and get more outfit snaps in the new year as looking back at some of these have taken me right back to some really amazing experiences I’ve had this year.  I’m not going to say I’m going start wearing more colour (I know I could never stick to that) but I’ve loved finding my style and becoming a bit more comfortable in it.

Hope you guys have a wonderful New Years Eve and see you on the other side!
