I’m a sucker for a classic which means time and time again I reach for my uniform pieces. A good jean, a classic brenton, so far, so rolled straight off of instagram right? While I think some good basics should be part of everyone’s wardrobe, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to have a little fun with them. From leather bombers to crisp white trainers, it’s the finishing touches that lifts an everyday style uniform from tried, tested, and yes, a little bt tierd, to something worth getting excited about wearing.

I’d stalked Dirty Disco Vintage mercilously on instagram for months before I got up the guts to ask her if she would be up for making my wedding jacket. I’d loved her “not your babe” dino so knew she would be the perfect person to bring my kitty confetti dream to life. Sure it says Wifey for Lifey but now that the weddings over, you can bloody bet I’ll be wearing this at every available opportunity. Favourite thing in my wardrobe? Along with my dress you bloody well bet it is.
I don’t know about you, but some leather finishing touches are exactly what’s needed for a dash of fun for Winter dressing. From metallic detailing on rigid leather classics, to slouchy reclaimed custom vintage – it’s the key features that keep me coming back for more.
