“Live fast, die young, bad girls do it well.” I’m all about embracing the dark side to the point that I’m not quite sure I have an alternative. I’ve never been one for the light and frothy (excluding the obvious: kittens and candy floss) so if it ain’t broke, why fix it? Halloween is one of my favourite time of years, allowing me to truly give in to the witchy goodness, and we can all do with a little bit more spook in our day today. “If in doubt, freak them out” right?

ASOS asked me to share my dark side on the run up to Halloween (after all they basically have all the creepy goods a baby goth like me could desire) but I don’t really have a dark side, or a light side. I live in a constant rotation of bruise tones, and that works well for me. After all, what goes better with black, than more black? I’m pretty sure I’m going to be living in this jumpsuit for the next few months, little effort required. Still, it’s fun to fully go all black. It’s so rare I go top to toe these days, and there’s nothing like some pointy shoes, a black cat and a witchy hat to get you in the spirit. Now where did I put my broom?
