Stripes and High Kicks

I think it’s time that I accept that I’ll never quite get the hang of weather apropriate dressing. After a chilly couple of days I thought it was about time I took my new wool trousers for a spin. Turns out it was mid-September and 21 degrees. Proper taps aff weather. Let’s just say monochrome wool is not the most sun friendly outfit and leave it at that?

Autumn is my favourite season so I’ve been super excited to crack out my rain coats, longer sleeves and, yeah, wool. After a chilly couple of days it looks like we’ve been blessed with the last remenants of an Indian Summer. I can’t say I’m complaining, but I wish I hadn’t packed away all my Summer clothes first. No doubt we’ll be back to normal service soon enough and I can all but live in wool and cashmere.  I’ve steadily been building my Autumn wardrobe all year with a mix of high quality British wool, rool necks and lined dresses and trousers. Like a real adult.  When the thermometer finally drops, believe me guys, I am ready.
