LFW: Easy to wear Boxy Classics

My fashion week evolution from sky scraper neon heels to full on tomboy is near complete. Fashion Week comes but twice a year and I always look forward to it, so being comfortable enough to survive the long days is essential.  Easy to wear, loose, boxy layers made up most of my fashion week wardrobe. Important note: you can never own too many rollnecks.

First day in and fashion week was already in full swing. Betty and I made sure to pop in to some presentations, check out the Will Broome x Henry Holland collab with Debenhams before hitting up a BFC American Express talk about careers in fashion. With creative director of Agent Provoceteur, Sarah Shotton, it was a real highlight. Whatever you come to fashion week for; buying, showcasing, street style or review, making time to take some talks in should be part of anyones calender. It was truly inspiring and I could have listened to the panel talk all day.

I paired an oversized dress with the off-duty merino roll neck from Boden. I love pairing big boxy shapes with each other, even if stylistically it may sound counter-intuitive. I wore my dress mostly unbottoned to give me a big of shape and movement instead of looking like a giant rectangle. And always flats. Always.  Well…..at least till Day 2.
