Rebecca Torres: Beyond The Patterned Book

I don’t think there was ever any doubt that I was going to love Rebecca Torres‘ latest outing “Beyond the Patterned Book.” All her stylistic quirks are present and correct in her latest collection – sleek silhouettes, bright colours and graphic shapes dominate her new collection. In a stripped back
runway – Rebecca’s designs were able to draw focus to their clean contemporary lines and modern day elegance.

Rebecca’s designs are effortlessly cool and I adore her use of colour. She is one of the few designers that can have me totally legitimise wearing yellow (and bodycon.)  Also totally in love with that sherbet orange. I want that colour on my nails/on my body (and if there ever was a collection SCREAMING out for a nail collab with DIY Nails this is it.)

I love the asymmetric detailing through the collection and there is no way I am not all up in the cute little hexagon motif that’s woven through the entire collection. Once more Rebecca shows herself to me a master of shape and colour, and it is no wonder she is part of one of ten designers part of the new Fashion Foundry.

For me Rebecca’s designs are perfect for an instantly polished and sleek look – and HOLLA – she’s got a massive sale on at the moment – with loads from her S/S 12 collection Bilstiche on offer (the Heather midi is one of my favourites) so perfect if looking for something a bit more unusual for Christmas parties or hell wrapped under the tree.  Def one to continue to watch.

Continuing with my Christmas soundtrack:
