OOTD: Coloured faux fur, animal print and ruffles

Jacket – Obscure Couture (borrowed), Shirt – Tatty Bon (had forever), Skirt – River Island – £10 (sale), Boots – New Look – £22.50, Bag – Topshop – £24

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how insanely good this jacket is?  I’ve borrowed a few pieces from the girls down at OC for a few events that I have coming up and with a crisp evening like the Lush Spa launch is seemed like such a waste not to give this guy an outing. Also – don’t think I’ve ever had so many compliments on a coat in my life. I had strangers coming up and stroking me – which wasn’t quite as weird as you’d think (kind of an accepted side effect of wearing massive coloured faux fur.)

The shirt is a relic from Tatty Bon. Had it for years and it is still one of my fave pieces in my wardrobe. It reminds me a bit of Bowie in Labyrinth. Love me some fancy frills. Like wise – this leopard skirt is a staple in my collection. I got it in River Island’s January sale a couple of years back and it’s still one of my favourites. I still think animal print is one of those things that is so easy to get wrong but this guy just ticks all the boxes.

I was super cosy and pretty sure the smell of Lush has soaked in to me (worst things have happened) and after my visit dying to try out some of their hair treatments. Maybe one of the dry shampoo bars.

Thoughts?

Thought I’d maybe go for a maybe more traditional Christmas song. Must have Christmas songs on for all of December.
