Diamonds and Champagne: Rox Edinburgh Launch

Shirt – Primark (£12), Cardi – Obscure Couture (£160), Trousers – h&m (£9.99), Flatforms – New Look (£7), Clutch – Primark (£3)

I’ve always been a big fan of Rox – their Glasgow Thrill Room is the destination shop for gorgeous diamond jewellery so when I was invited to the launch of their Edinburgh store obvs I was all over it. Oh yeah and Labrinth was playing (insert standard Earthquake joke here.)

The Edinburgh Thrill Room is based at The Assembly Room on George Square. The new store is lush as expected. It’s very open and bright and very plush. The cabinets are filled with everything from Raymond Weil watches to diamond engagement rings to small token jewellery. Without a doubt my favourite pieces were the positively charming zodiac jewellery. Simple, styling and at my price point. Not all the jewellery is on the website, so if you’re in Edinburgh or Glasgow I would implore you to have a creep in. It’s not all wedding bands and precious jewels (though they certainly have plenty of them) – but they also do some really sweet charms including peace signs, tiny crosses and stars.

Labrinth’s performance was amazing and was heavy in to his outfit – yellow blazer (obv I’m a fan) with a collarless shirt and Raymond Wild watch. Well played sir.

After an evening in the Thrill Room my ever growing Christmas list has got a few more additions to it. Fingers crossed I’ll have a Rox box under the tree for me this year.

If you fancy watching some coverage from the party (with a brief cameo of me waxing lyrical about the new Thrill Room with my “proper posh” voice on) you can creep the video below.
