Fleet Ilya‘s shoot by Katie Bellm is fucking brilliant. Featuring some of the best accessorise from their A/W 2010/2011 collection, it scores extra points for mesh and red lipstick. The girl looks like she is about to rip out your ribcage and wear it as a hat….or you know, blow your head off, whatever she feels like.
I first came across Fleet Ilya via High Snobette when she posted about the saddle clutch bag from the A/W collection. The structure was incredible and it looked durable as hell…always a bonus for my bags as I am anything but gentle with them. Basically Fleet Ilya combine the classical training and imagination of it’s founder to produce harnesses, head pieces, waist-clinchers,cuffs and bags. The men and women’s lines focus on three lines; classic, concept and restraint. Fleet Ilya is heavily influenced by bondage and takes it out its original context to create something beautiful in leather. I’m swooning at some of the corset like harnesses that feature heavily in a lot of their shoots but the saddle bag has pretty much had me fall in all kinds of lust with this label.
