So…let’s try this thing.
The picture was taken by the lovely les garcons de Glasgow after the fashion show I co-organised in April. Anyway it was backstage, I’d just started putting on my heels and I got stopped for my photograph. I’m one of these people that unless it’s for a night out I feel very awkward in front of the camera and I think my nervousness shows….like a deer in the headlights, but this picture…well it was after ITCOW and I was just so elated, and I think I just look…happy.
Right so now 6 things
1: I’m mega organised
Considering the career path I want to go down this is pretty much essential, but I’m one of these people who plans ahead. I’m the one who knows x is supposed to be at y, and I always have a back up plan so I don’t loose my head.
2: I am good at what I do
I’ve worked on various events and I am good at not only organising them, but coming up with all the extra details. I can budget with one hand and find you a bearded lady fortune teller with the other.
3: If I say something,I’ll do it
I’m very good at motivating myself to do things. I don’t like to moan about things and then do nothing. I’ve wanted to get fit for a while now so about 3 weeks ago I started running 3 times a week. Yeah I’m a bit crap and I feel a bit self conscious running in the streets of Glasgow but I feel all the better for it.
4: I’m a fantastic cook
I cook pretty much everything from scratch using fresh ingredients and bits and pieces of knowledge I’ve picked up from family, friends and the telly box. I can’t remember the last time I used a recipe book. I’ve transformed the boy who lived on cheese substitute pizzas and subways into a lover of home cooking…..managing to teach him how to make spaghetti bolognese in the process. This is an achievement by itself.
5: I’m good at the whole advice thing
Friends being friends will ask for advice. I will deliver it. I’d like to say I’m quite good at it. I’m honest (to the point of tactlessness but that’s what you’re needing) and will try and look at it from all angles. I’m no Coke Talk but I still manage to do okay.
6: My heart tattoo
I wear my heart on my sleeve…as in literally. I have the dictionary definition of heart on my right arm and it’s pretty much my favourite tattoo ever.
Well…that was uncomfortable.
