So I wanted to try this thing out where I’d keep a note of my style crushes, if it works it works…if not well whatever…we forget it ever happened, but really it’s more an online note of “people who look real good”…that and hot slut seems like something out of Mean Girls.
Anyway I thought I’d start Hot Slut Sunday off with long time favourite Anna Dello Russo. For those who don’t know Anna Dello Russo is the Fashion Editor at large and creative consult for Vogue Nippon. Other than being a total style icon she’s also the star of her own manga.…(what the what)..but truly I can’t say I’m that surprised.
I first came across Anna via the Sartorialist and she was wearing this amazing red number with a skinny black belt, boots and long gloves and it was instant save to the desktop material. As time went on I kept seeing this fantastically dressed woman everywhere…always in uh-mazing shoes (of which she has over 4000), sweet jackets, big shoulders and some of the shortest hemlines I ever did see. She’s in her 40’s but I know girls half her age that would swap bodies with her in a New York minute. Me? I just want her wardrobe.
I have to say my favourite looks are the ones with trousers but Anna’s real forte is colour. I have tried to feature some here…but some of her black outfits were too good to miss for someone like me.
