Black Friday has come to mark the launch of Christmas shopping. While many of the big high street giants have had their decorations and Christmas tunes spinning since Mid-October, it's still the last Friday in November that truly marks the beginning of the festive season. While Black Friday has got some what of a rought rap in the last few years, it's still a great way to save a few pennies, discover new brands and pick up some great bargains. With some of my favourite indie designers taking part in Cyber Weekend there's never been a better excuse to shop local. Here are my top Indie Black Friday deals for you to spend your pay day dollah on.
The spunky little sister to indie darling
Miista, Eeight is the accesorys brand diffusion line. Having launched
earlier this year, they specialise in more affordable shoes but with the
same great quality. For Black Friday (and all of the weekend) they're
offering up to 50% off. So if you've ever fancied yourself a pair of Emi
thigh high boots or some disco inspired plimsoles, now's the time to
get in on it.
With a throng of celebrity fans and a
succesful crowdfund under her belt, Isolated Heroes is one of the
hottest indie designers on the scene at the moment. Treat yourself to
one of her now iconic sequin bombers with 25% off this Black Weekend.
Christmas has come early indeed.
Wooden watches are having a bit of a moment,
but few do it better than Glasgow brand Kochiba. Not only will you get
20% off this weekend with the code BLACK20, but a portion of the profit
from every watch goes towards global charity WomanKind. With their
unisex designs they are sure sure to be a welcome adition under any
Perhaps the best vintage inspired
brand going? Tara Starlet is the British designer behind my bridesmaids
dresses so you can bet there's something on her site perfect for party
season. Jewel toned wiggle dresses, wide legged super high waisted
trousers and glossy pussy bows are all present and correct. With her
Black Friday sale you are sure to snap up a bargain. Do yourself a
favour though and size up here. Her clothes run closer to vintage sizing
so you'll need a bit of leway!
Scottish designer Bonnie Bling has become a staple in our stockings at Christmas. Her last Black Friday sale near enough broke the internet. This year she returns with 70% off Scottish Slang jewellery and 50% off her best selling highland cow. Perfect little extras, Bonnie Bling proves you don't need to break the bank to treat someone this season.
It's pay day so I know I'll be getting stuck in with some treats this weekend. What have been your best Black Friday buys?
